1. Commitment to Data Integrity

Karmig Foundation operates under strict institutional compliance regarding donor, volunteer, and beneficiary data privacy. We do not sell, barter, trade, or lease personal identifiers, financial data, or communication records to any commercial third party.

2. Personal Information Collected

We only collect information strictly necessary for operational governance, statutory tax filing, and communication transparency:

  • Donor Verification: Full name, PAN (Permanent Account Number), physical mailing address, email, and phone number for Form 10BE filing.
  • Institutional CSR Records: Corporate PAN, CIN, authorized signatory credentials, and official banking correspondence.
  • Field Operations: Consent-backed demographic surveys conducted under localized community welfare programs.

3. Payment Processing & Banking Security

All electronic transactions are processed through RBI-authorized payment gateways featuring standard 256-bit SSL encryption. Karmig Foundation never stores debit/credit card numbers, CVVs, or Net Banking credentials on internal application servers.

4. Statutory Disclosures

Under Section 80G(5)(viii) of the Income Tax Act, 1961, non-profit institutions are mandated to submit statement of donations in Form 10BD to the Income Tax Department. Providing your PAN during contribution is mandatory to enable issuance of your official Certificate of Donation in Form 10BE.
